Long term treatment with silica

Post by sensiamelia »

I have a young kitty (10 months), Puddin' Head, who has recovered from
surgery and corneal ulceration caused by feline herpes. Allopathic
surgery was used to save her eye, but homeopathy really helped the
healing. However, she has an irregular-shaped white cloudy area on
the cornea. She does have sight in the eye and her vision problem
apparently does not effect her moth hunting abilities. She is
otherwise a healthy, lively, active little thing, and I credit a good
diet, nutritional supplements and the herpes nosode for keeping the
virus under control.
Silica has been recommended, in a low px, and for a "long period of
time". However, I am confused by frequency of a low px remedy for long
term usage. I know, in general, low px are given more often. I mean
once a day for weeks? I am having a hard time interpreting this and
thoughts would be appreciated.
