Combination remedies for persecution

Post by Simon King LCPH MARH »

A Combination of recent posts on enlightenment and mushrooms etc. have
got me thinking about how globally many people suffer a sense of
persecution for widely different reasons and whether the repertory is
complete under the associated rubrics... and whether these couldn't be
combined to create a new rubric of 'Persecution, feeling of,' or
similar?

So could we make a combination of the remedies under related headings
and families to round out the 'persecution' rubric, or add subrubrics?

Perhaps we could start by discussing the associated rubrics
and
Families of remedies that have that feeling

Interesting that the actual word persecuted only appears under the
'delusions' section of the rep (Complete Millennium)

E.g. The scope is very wide from those being murdered for their belief
or race, or threat to the established order (e.g. the intellectuals) -
to young teenagers that feel persecuted by their parents
E.g Can it be that only Foll. listed under religious domination, is the
only Rx to consider?
E.g. a combination of all the related rubrics I can find in a quick
search doesn't contain Tub, can that be right?

Combined rubric:
Persected: Chin., Dros., anac., ars., aur., bell., calc., cench.,
cocain., crot-h., cupr., cycl., hell., hyos., ign., kali-br., lach.,

Considering the delusion is reality is delusion does it matter where
the 'persecution' rubric appears.

This would be quite a big project but I think straight away about many
of the 'animal' rx when I think of persecution - snakes, vermin (so
called), insects etc.

I would be prepared to take one or two of the rx appearing in your
selection and write something when I have time.
Best wishes, Joy

I don't know about Zen but the reason this sensation appears in the
delusions chapter is because it is a sensation FELT by the individual
and not a sx that is EMITTED by the individual (although that can
happen but you would use other rubrics for that anyway such as Cruelty,
for example).

This isn't definitive but you could cross refer with the following:-

delusion abused
delusion accused
delusion in a wilderness
delusion animals jumping at her
delusion about to sink into annihilation
delusion about to be arrested
delusion will be sent to an asylum
delusion must defend against imaginary insults
delusion he is being beaten
delusion someone behind him
delusion will be bitten
delusion body being dashed to pieces
delusion he would be caught
delusion will be choked by icy cold hands
delusion people are averse to her company
delusion conspiracies
delusion contaminates everything she touches
delusion about to commit a crime
delusion criticised
delusion about to die
delusion has an incurable disease
delusion hears footsteps behind him

etc etc, in fact anything that is suggestive of guilt and/or attack and
defence. Persecution also has a sense of being castaway attached to it
so you could expand this in that area as well. You would also want to
cross refer with the relevant dream rubrics.

It really is a huge reference mark. Best wishes, Joy

What I was taught, is that you might use the "Delusion" rubrics *even*
if the thing is a fact, if the person seems sort of trapped within the
issue (my words; can't remember how it was put). In other words, if
someone *feels* mistreated, scorned and put down, you would (might) use
those rubrics, quite regardless of whether or not it's a fact. If
they're abused etc. yet *don't* seem to feel that they are, you'd have
to decide what to do with that (more unusual) response--are they
maintaining inner health despite the pathological situation, or is
there dissociation, repression, denial, whatever?
