Hi Sinon,

I think the guy's name is George Macleod. has written books on veterinary
homepathy as well as for cats etc.

Search the websites for Macleod and Homeopathy

or at minimum price

But you might try to have a look, before buying. Most of the animal
homeopathy books I've seen have been awfully "cookbook style"; I tried
a few, then gave up and went back to "if this were a human, what would
they be doing?", and rep accordingly. (But if you *do* find a book you
really like, please let me know!)

I agree, Shannon. I haven't found a veterinary homeopathy book that actually addresses how to interpret symptoms in companion animals -- they do seem to foolow a "cookbook approach," and generally the only effective thing to do is to use keen observation and repertorize the symptoms and traits that have appeared and that characterize the individual. Too bad! The ideal book on this subject has yet to appear, I think. Rosemary

All those mentioned are good, in the UK there is a lovely new one by Francis Hunter - "Everyday Homeopathy for Animals", George Macleod has one just on Cats as mentioned (also English). Of course Shannon is right, but it can sometimes be easier to "see" the remedy when the animal picture is painted, eg symptoms about hair balls or humping the cat or teddy bear. Minerva or Serpentina or Potent Books should have them. Local libraries? They have a few here in Australian libraries.

Best wishes, Elizabeth

Hmmmm -- you're right -- hairballs and humping the teddy bear are really hard symptoms to figure out from humans!! Good thought.
