I am teaching genetics and botany this summer. One of the last topics I
cover in botany is phytochemistry. This is also my humble way of
introducing young adults to "alternative" medicine such as herbal and
homeopathic.
Next week, I wish to have a lab where we prepare some simple plant-
based products. So far I have Calendula ointment and Mullen oil lined
up, but I am now looking for a simple tincture preparation method and a
good herb to use.
Thanks,
Dee

Arnica is a likely choice of a "good herb" to use, I would think. Rosemary
