Cause of PSORA ??

Post by Joy Lucas »

Dear Piet, this makes for very good reading and I agree with it according to
how I was taught. Where do you place, what many consider to be, the 2 other
miasms - tubercular and cancer? Are you also reading JH Allens "The Chronic
Miasms" - it has a materia medica written specifically with the miasms in
mind.

Many might ask why it is necessary to understand the phenomena of the miasms
- Allen says, "we cannot select the most similar remedy unless we understand
the miasms because the similia is always based upon the existing basic
miasms whether we are conscious of it or not. The curative remedy is but the
pathopoesis of a certain pathogenesis of an existing miasm."

To not know the miasms is like not knowing the name of a remedy.
Best wishes, Joy Lucas

Dear Joy,

Yes, I read; JH Allens "The Chronic Miasms", on page 23 he tell us that the
Tubercular diathesis is a combination of psora & syphilis.
Some others like Cloudhury say it is a seperate miasm: Tuberculosis.
Same for Carcinosis seperate or sycosis &syphilis
Aids: seperate or syphilis & psora (Mischa Norland).
For me the most BASIC miasm are psora, sycosis & syphilis.
I have no problem at all to call Tuberculosis, Carcinosis, Aids, seperate
miasms, they have a universal nature.
But it has to end somewere, we also have now Typhoid, Ringworm, Leprosy etc.
When we continue this way, every remedy will correspond to its own miasm in
the future.
I like the quote from Allen, it is also mentioned in 'Notes on miasm' from
Ortega.

Kind regards,
Piet Guijt

It is not my intention to edit so as to change a line of thinking - just for
expediency but surely "disease from bad hygienic conditions" are as much
under the influence of miasms than any other disease arising out of other
conditions.
