update on elephantiasis

Post by Didi Ananda Ruchira »

Dear all,

Back in March I requested your advice on elephantiasis. We have some progress on the case and I thought you may be interested as a matter of follow up (permission granted by the pt)

J. Kennedy Otieno is homeopath at the Eastleigh slum clinic who has treated this case. He has requested me to write up the case and post it.

For the really curious, the photo is posted at: www.abhalight.org/photos Unfortunately we never got a "before" photo from the first, so what is there is the mid-way follow-up photo. We hope after some months we'll get a "after" photo. According to Kennedy, the swelling and condition of the skin was much worse with folds, cracking, discharges etc.

Elephantiasis

Swelling from Right knee to foot. The leg is scaly, dry, cracked and with discharges of [sticky] water. Skin is hard. Skin is dark with darker spotty discolourations. No pain.
She sometimes scratches it. sitting lying backwards.

There's a wart on her finger which she didn't mention before.

Ars 30, 3 days, followed by sac lac.

I would love to know why these prescriptions were given particularly the last one of Silica 10M. Why continue with the Ars 30 for 3 days after the Thuja and Silica. I don't understand this prescribing.
Regards
Rochelle
