Taking homeopathic remedies to China

Post by Cl.Mennel »

Hi everyone,

I'm moving to the People's Republic of China
and I want to take my homeopathic remedies with me.
(for private use only)

Thus, my question:

Has anybody got any experience in taking homeopathic remedies to China?

Has anybody any information on this topic?

Many thanks in advance

Claudia

Dear Claudia,
I am in Japan where there is some access to remedies but very inconvenient. I am wishing for a remedy making machine. That's what homeopaths here in Japan use. I brought in boxes of bottled remedies and they were all sent back by customs. I identified them as remedies and that was were the mistake was. Nobody opened up my clothes and I am sure I had just bundled them with other household goods, I would have been fine. But space is at such a premium. Also when the fine sand comes over in the spring from the Yellow river in Northern China, everything gets dusty. Less material goods in these countries is better. In the chaos of Chinese reality, I would try to keep my equipment on my back. KISS = Keep it simple stupid. KISS applies here. I am just starting up, but there is a real frenzy to learn and to absorb. I am approaching this frenzy with caution, yet I know it is there and if I can rein it in and organize it, my study here is going to be very interesting. Yours will be too.
Stay in touch. I read and write Chinese too and will be going there soon because my husband's work is partly there. He goes to Qing Dao on the Shandong Peninsula.
It is a good idea to get set up with internet telephone. I use Skype.
Blessings,
Ellen Madono
