Puzzle(now diabetes)
Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
As I have said a few times now - yes.
You could say the ravages of our society today is responsible for ALL
diseased states so zig zagging is appropriate for all cases? Who
teaches this kind of homeopathy? Does this pertain to a true layered
case or superficial 'helping' (a word we seem to apply to so many cases
these days, instead of "cure')?

Rochelle-
In terms of finding what homeopathy can do or not - it is better to
err on the side of homeopathy... have we not seen so many "incurable"
cases responding miraculously to homeopathy... My thinking is we are
still only scratching only superficially of what we are capable of
doing... I do not want to raise false hopes in the patient but
personally I will always be confident that we can do a lot of things
with homeopathy...that are thought not possible in other systems...
The limitation is more in mindset, our knowledge of medicines and our
knowledge of therapeutic possibilities...

Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
Dear Joy & Rochelle
I think what Rochelle is mentions (pls correct me if I wrong) often applies
to cases where the vitality is weak and so the symptoms do not show one
clear remedy which will help for long.
So the result is that the application of the remedy can be short term and
the practitioner is directed from remedy to another by 'presenting symptom'.
This is all well and good, however one VERY important rule must be observed.
The rule is that if a remedy has done well you do not desert it. You up
potency and wait before you abandon it and change for another.
The early changing of remedies is the cause of may cases that have become
spoiled, confused and the VF battered into inactivity/incurability.

Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
Dear Joy,
Can you please give us some indication of details of where a documented cured case of Type 1 diabetes of long standing can be found?
I have seen references to this kind of zig zagging in books (can someone please help here?) as well as at various lectures I have attended over the years. I am forever going to seminars and attending courses.

Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
I agree!! But I would like proof of a long term Type 1 diabetes cure before I could ever say that this is possible.

That is naturally correct and I presume understood to be the case although I didn't specifically needed to be stated. Thanks for the clarification for new comers to homeopathy.

Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
Exactly but when the vitality is that low or weak you are usually
confronted with extremely serious pathology, an incurable case, a one
sided case or a near death situation and, as you say, you would stay
with the simillimum until some harmony is restored. Patience is
required even if the situation is demanding. I don't think any of this
applied to the case being discussed though. If you have a situation
where a rx is given to 'clear the path' so to speak this shouldn't be
required too often (and often the same rx required each time as in
intercurrents). When the path is cleared you should be able to see the
simillimum and move the case forward to cure. I am trying to understand
the approach used when wildly different rx are required on each visit.
How can the 'constitution' (not my word) change so drastically.
Best wishes, Joy

Re: Puzzle(now diabetes)
I will ask and when permission is granted will post the notes. My case
was only 4 years standing so probably doesn't qualify.
