Low cost homeopathy

Post by Dr. Jill Elliot »

Hi Robyn
I agree that homeopathy is way over-priced here in New York City. I don't know what is charged in other states. In NYC the average intake session costs $250-400. and follow-ups $75-$135 (or more by some practitioners. I don't know all the practitioners practicing so I don't know their prices. However some of these practitioners originate in England and practice here a few times a year. And some are bi-coastal (NYC and California). So I would image those two places would accept these high fees. I doubt homeopaths in middle America are charging these high fees. Since homeopathy is generally not a reimbursable medical expense, people in this country using homeopathy for their problems, are a very dedicated bunch.
Best, Jill

Hi Robyn

Hi Friends, I am in New Jersey, near Atlantic City.
Although these prices seem outrageous, let us remember the
'cost of living' in New York City and in other high priced areas. It is
hard to believe how pricy housing can be, although other expenses like
food and clothing seems to be comparatively priced in different areas.

My own homeopath charged $250 for the first visit, and that last year.
(He is in Delaware) It was well worth the costs, ( I do not charge as
much, but where I live is not as high real estate as where my homeopath
lives).

We homeopaths are entitled to keep a roof over our heads, purchase books
and materials and have some kind of personal life (although sometimes I
wonder what that might be. :) )

Warmly, Maria
