Dear Maria, with elderly people you have to be able to assess what
needs to be cured and also what can be cured and each individual case
has to be taken on its own merits. If there is little serious
pathology, energy levels are reasonable, there is hardly any allopathy
involved and sx are clear then the outlook would be more than
encouraging. Then there are variable degrees downward from this to the
worst case scenario when serious pathology is present, specific organs
are weak, energy levels are poor, there are a lot of other medications
being taken and will power is low and the sx are of poor quality or of
a confusing nature then palliation may be the only option but the
assessment has to be made with as open a mind as possible.
Even in these cases it doesn't necessarily mean that a variety of rx
are required just persistence with the best and most similar and that
is always difficult when sx are not reliable but we shouldn't use that
as an excuse - always strive to find the best single remedy before
opting for a variety. Grade what needs to be cured and target that in
these instances would be my advice.
If the sx you described are truly SRP they need contextualising within
the case and they might be drawing you away from more basic sx which
turn out to be more valuable. Keep it simple.
