You have been asked to share YOUR methods but have not done so. You
have yet to show us how YOUR methods are so advanced that they make what is
written in the Organon look like the Wright brothers biplane and you look
like a Space Shuttle pilot.
You said you use more lower potencies than most homeopaths due to your
early experiences. Then you said you mostly used low potencies like 6c and
12c avoid aggravations. That is the main point. It seems that you have not
learned how to control the power of high potencies because you have yet to
to integrate the teachings of the 5th and 6th Organon and the medical
solution. Hahnemann introduced these methods for the specific reason of
controlling and enhancing the powers of potencies 30c, 200c and higher as
well as the LM 0/1 to 0/30. Has you have so little experience in these
fields why don't you do a clinical trial for a decent amount of time (a
year or so) and then assess the results. This is little doubt that the
medicinal solution is much more flexible than the dry dose and can be
adjusted in many more ways to suit the patient and their circumstances. You
talking about the future and holding onto the past.
This says much more about the your psychological conditioning than my
teachings and clinical practice. You are misunderstanding my motives and
reasons for making Hahnemann's teaching more available to the worldwide
homeopathic community over the last 10 to15 years. When I began using the C
and LM potencies in medical solution by the methods of the 5th and 6th
Organon in the early 1980s most persons were unknowingly following the
methods of the 4th Organon in a pseudo-modernist fashion. Many schools were
not teaching the fundamental of homeopathy very well and some persons where
practicing without even understanding what was really available. What you
clearly don't understand is that we are not saying that one has to stop
with Hahnemann. We are saying that Hahnemann's life and works are the best
place to start!
At that time, few persons were reading the Organon and the Chronic
Diseases and few had any idea what was in the various editions. Miasms were
being called everything BUT the affects of inherited and acquired
infectious diseases and much of the original material on causation,
constitution, temperament, predisposition, miasms and the vital force was
not understood. I also found that the posology and case management methods
were static and did not really represent the full set of options offered by
the Founder. For this reason, I began to emphasis the difference found in
the 4th, 5th and 6th editions of the Organon and teaching the importance of
reviewing the original source material. This has had a very positive effect
on homeopathic education and many persons know much more about these
subjects than I did when I was young. This has certainly helped homeopathy
much more than hold it back!
It seems you are overreacting when you start throwing around words
like "holy book" and "fundamentalist" thus accusing persons to only
following blind faith. The use of one-sided iconoclasm only clouds the real
issues. Many times so-called anti-fundamentalist campaigns are just another
form of extremism that try to infringe on the rights of others to express
their views and experience. It is called reverse discrimination. Now comes
the statement that YOU would have not allowed Hahnemann to be registered as
a homeopath, etc. It seems you are now tearing down Hahnemann as a way of
trying to get at persons who study his works seriously. We are very well
aware of the limitations he faced but we are also very well aware of the
fact that there is still a lot we can learn from his life and works,
especially when brought up to date for our times.
The one-sided modernists tend to think that the Organon is as outdated
as the Wright brother biplane and they have nothing to learn from the past.
Those who have little to learn from the past are rarely well prepared for
the future. I don't practice exactly like Hahnemann but I have learned a
lot by studying the Organon, the Chronic Diseases, the Lesser Writings and
Hahnemann's casebooks. After all, without Hahnemann's discovery of
homeopathy we would have no medicines! Our study of the Hahnemann's
writings is no different than someone studying physics respecting and
studying A. Einstein. Much of what Hahnemann introduced in his life time is
still relevant to modern practice. In fact, most pseudo-modernists have not
put his advanced suggestions to the test in clinical trials.
I think this is a very appropriate place to quote what Constantine
Hering wrote in the Preface to the 1845 American edition of the Chronic
Diseases. This was written only 3 years after Hahnemann's passing. Thus
sums up my feelings on the matter.
"It is the duty of all of us to go further in the theory and practice
of Homoeopathy than Hahnemann has done. We ought to seek the truth which is
before us and forsake the errors of the past. But wo unto him who, on that
account, should personally attack the author of our doctrine; he would
burthen himself with infamy. Hahnemann was a great savant, inquirer, and
discoverer; he was as true a man, without falsity, candid and open as a
child, an inspired with pure benevolence and with a holy zeal for science."

This is IMO a discussion that would do very well being published in one
of the homeopathic Journals, e.g 'The Homeopath', or 'Homeopathy in
Practice'. It raises and answers issues that deserve to be read by a
wider audience than this list

I would second, third and fourth it as well. It amazes it how many
times David has to elucidate but it makes for good reading every time

David I dont possess your eloquence nor the time to write pages
about all this. I started by asking a simple question and it has
turned into an argument, its got personal too which is
unfortunate. I am not the things you accuse me of being.
If you want to see one of my cases, quite a few have been
published over the years. If you want to see how I work read my
book. How can I do that properly here? If someone can type up
and post one of Hahnemmans cases somewhere where we can
discuss it I would be happy to participate.

Oh, that's a bit unfair!!!
Surely you *can* tell us how you practice, and I for one would love to
hear more! Is it the tone of the discussion that makes you reluctant
to describe your methods, or too short on time, or not into being
flamed further, or ??
(Preferably in addition to having someone put up a case of Hahnemann's
for discussion!)
