Lyris listmanager - off topic

Post by vr_homeopathy »

There was some discussion of this problem a while ago, and now every
time I send to minutus I get a message back from this saying they don't
accept e-mails. Was this ever resolved? Does anyone know how I can
get rid of it?

Thanks,

Vera

I seem to get the notice all the time. I feel as though I am only able to be
an observer on the list as a result. this has gotten much worse since I
changed from hotmail to gmail. Do other people post their mail through the
web-site, or through their e-mail?

Me too. After the discussion about the NASA list, I just figure the message is somehow being routed to a wrong list not getting posted there, IS getting posted on Minutus just fine. So I just delete the Lyris warnings. Rosemary

I also received them a lot. I blocked them as "SPAM".

Weird, huh? :-)
It started just a few weeks ago, but other odd things have happened
over the past few months. All starting, if memory doesn't lead me
astray, a few weeks after some new list-member remarked on how "easy"
it would be to hack into the list's records and steal passwords.

After that many of our names / addresses went floating around doing
wicked things (spreading viruses and spam), then for a while every post
generated a "full mailbox" notice from some unknown address (the
hacker's?).

Aren't people great? :-P
