Remedies with chemotherapy

Interesting thoughts.

I haven't found that the tautological approach works as well in this type of situation -- as deeply or as thoroughly -- as a homeopathic "acute" remedy treatment for the symptoms as they appear.

It's interesting to think about prophylactic treatment to diminish poisoning from chemo before the chemo even starts (although there are generally several drugs involved, so that could be difficult to coordinate if using an isopathic approach.) I do often have patients take a prophylactic dose of Arsenicum or Kali-p before the treatments starts (or Radium-br or X-ray before radiation treatment), especially if these remedies correspond somewhat to the patient's usual constitutional weaknesses. How well this works is individual, although I think it generally is helpful in a supportive way.

People react individually, even to such toxic substances. No individual develops all of the possible symptoms, or even, necessarily any that are listed -- they may develop their own unique versions. It's only after the fact that we see what they actually develop, and yes, these symptoms often provide clues to their constitutional weaknesses and can confirm or suggest chronic remedy choices.

Of course, it's less complex if we don't have to deal with chemo or radiation in addition to the cancer -- but sometimes there are benefits to the patient from the allopathic treatment (sometimes, also, it can be a dreadful mistake -- but patients do what they feel is right and important for them -- that too is very individual!!).
