schiavo , did you need cocculus ?

Dear List,

Yesterday I read the newspaper report about schiavo, the american
woman who was mercy killed by the order of the court.

her parents, who fought against this said that she was wide awake but
recognised nobody.(or might it be she recognised and couldn't move ?)
Suddenly remembered cocculus- recognises everything , but cannot
move, catalepsy in (kent)
