Science catches up with homeopathy

It seems we know a thing or two the scientistsare finally acknowledging (yeh,
I know, we know LOTS the scientists haven't 'validated') ! A report in the
Sunday Times underlines our understanding that the DNA carries the
memory of ancestory in each individual. A short quote:

Hi Barb

This makes perfect sense - not only grandparents but our ancestrial line.
This is something I wrote an essay on for my genetics course in 1970 while
studying chemistry. There are very similar chemical reactions in the cells
that direct physical attributes as what takes place in the brain. As we are
nothing but a massive chemiacal reaction anyway -- why not. This certainly
contributes to instictive behaviour of both humans and animals. Helps
explain why birds know how and where to migrate each year etc etc.
A very interesting topic.

Hi Bob,

And why even 'emotional' issues get stuck in the DNA too. However, your
email puts me in mind of a question I had pondered: I've never understood
how Blue Tits managed to encode their 'learned behaviour' to future
generations: before the War, they apparently learnt how to prise off the
silver foil milk bottle tops and take the cream off the milk. During the war,
of course no milk deliveries, BUT, after the War, the new generation of birds
recommenced stealing from the milk bottles! (And that wasn't the FIRST
generation of birds).
Intriguing stuff, but I'm still working on the 'emotional' lineage - as that one
can cause quite severe repercussions (e.g. have patient who is currently
suicidal, and it is made all the more difficult because her father committed
suicide, so in essence, for her, it boils down to a 'permission' as well as an
'echo'.)
