Tetanus prevention

Rafi,

My understanding has been that the best prophylaxis is an alternation
between the homeopathic nosode, such as Clostridium tetani in this instance,
and the most similar remedy from a historical perspective. I do not know if
C. tetani would be more or less effective than tetanotoxinum in this
instance.

In the case of tetanus, however, the rules are bent slightly, in that an
alteration between Ledum and Hypericum are the norm. I have used this, but
impossible to know how effective, because can't prove there was any exposure
to the microbe. I have never treated an actual case of frank tetanus either.

Arthur Grimmer, MD, claimed to have treated all 60,000 (odd) patients who
sought his expertise between 1910 and 1967 with Lathyrus sativus (chick pea)
as prophylaxis for polio and never had a single instance of the disease in
his practice. He practiced in Chicago and was a student of Kent.

My best experience with prophylaxis has been sending remedies with patients
who are traveling to tropical areas, such as where malaria is endemic. Using
malaria as an example, I send them with Arsenicum album, Natrum-mur, and
China 30CH to take 2X weekly in alternation with Malaria officinalis 30CH,
also 2X weekly. I.e. they would take the Ars-Nat-m-Chin combination (in one
bottle Lord forbid lol) on Tues and Sat, while the malaria off wed and Sun.

So far no one I have sent who has maintained the schedule has gotten ill, no
matter how endemic the region. I have done this in perhaps 15 to 20
instances, so the sample population is small from a stastical perspective.
These individuals have been visiting such locales as the Philippines,
Vietnam, Rwanda, and Central America. It is remarkable, though, that none
even developed travelers diarrhea while using Ars prophylactically.

Which remedy of the followings will be a good preventive against Tetanus (if
at all):

Chlostridium Tetani or Tetanotoxinum?

Which potency should be preferred?

The remedia online catalog says that these remedies are the same, but I
doubt it.

(Tetanus= Chlostridium Tetani = Tetanotoxinum ). What do you think?
