Hello Doctor,
I happened to see the post you made in minutus today. As a matter of fact,
I thought i could share something with you in this aspect. I happened to
treat some cases of breast carcinoma. I also had cases which were doing
chemotherapy from SCT along side with homoeopathy.
The fact is that chemo always worsens the vitality of the patient to such a
level so that her vitality goes down and she sinks much more easily. I had a
case of 32 yrs old woman who had familial history of carcinoma. Her mother
also had breast cancer. This lady was repertorised and suitable
constitutional drug was given. The patient responded well but required many
short acting drugs when symptoms changed. (As she also had severe dyspnoea
in association when she came to the clinic.) The key feature we noticed was
that the patient was sinking after every chemotherapy. Our medicines used to
help her and then the date for the next chemo would arrive.She would be very
much ill after that . The lady also developed a pointing in the breast and
the SCT physicians told her that once this ruptures then it is the end so be
careful. This has gone into her mind and she felt very depressed after the
boil ruptured. At last the patient died due to the illness. After some days
her husband came to my clinic to show his daughter. He was very well aware
of the difficulty of chemo. He told me " Doctor you could have asked me not
to give her chemo any longer". I also felt that I could have told him so.
But then I verified why I didnt tell him so. I asked him to consider which
type of treatment he wanted to take.If ever I told him to stop chemo and
then also if the patient died then they will say that the patient would have
escaped if they resorted to chemotherapy. But now a days I make it a point
in carcinoma cases to tell them that Chemo always worsens the patient. But
if still u want to do it u can continue with it. I think that you can also
give such an opinion in this case. Moreover what I see in this case is that
as there is metastasis to Axillary nodes the prognosis is much lesser in
this case. As the patient is poor also it will be a big burden to send them
to SCT. Try to convince these facts to them .
Secondly , regarding resection, the mother of the same girl is still living as she was not resected yet. Hope these would be helpful for you. Tell me something regarding your details also when you send back a reply. All the best in this case.

Of course the patient is the only one that can eventually decide what to do.
What we need to provide is information.
Fortunately in New Zealand the oncologist are still human and do not offer
unnecessary treatment.............
