Mental block

Post by J Lucas »

I was thinking Sepia and with what you say I would still suggest that sleep

Her protracted menses don't sound like Mag mur.

It's more a case of she knows that they last 15 hours and she is pleased if
they arrive later on in the day as she can sleep them off, She is > moving
around with them than staying still. Not sure about the intensity. What do
you reckon about Mag Mur? I remember her saying that she was very surprised
when so many people rallied round for her when she wasn't well. Maybe she
thought she was friendless. Or do you have another idea?

I have discussed Nat Mur, Chocolate, Sepia and Mag Mur with the patient today and will be sending her Mag Mur as it seems to have a lot of her issues in it. I like to discuss remedy options with my patients as I feel if they are happy with the Rx it sets the healing off. Much of the stuff I found out today was to do with the sensitivity to external impressions. She likes natural as opposed to artificial and that includes the touch of objects. The betrayal of friends was also admitted by her. She has admitted that at time she has felt like leaving the lot of them but wouldn't. It is the escapism and the want of new experiences. If Mag Mur does nothing then I will retake the case.

She said when the headache comes on she is over the 2 heavy days so really I think it is a case of headache after menses rather than during. I don't really think of protracted as a discharge to begin with, then 2 heavy days then tailing off which altogether comes to 7 or 8 days but then others may disagree.
