Patenting Peter Chappell's remedies

Dear George

To take out international patents on the process and products would costs
millions.

If you know the source of such funds please introduce them to Peter.

Peter indeed has spent a great deal of his own assets and time to help
others and that needs to be fully appreciated.

If one has something truly patentable and revolutionary and doesn't
attend to the intellectual property aspect s/he could end up paying someone
who
"filed" first to use his own invention...it has happened. Twenty quid a
bottle
is a pittance next to allodrug pricing. And it would not surprise me if
Chappell has donated more than he has sold. Even if one wants to give away
the idea
for the benefit of all, the way to go about it IMO is to own the patent and
declare publicly that you won't enforce it.

patent would be sufficient to prove primacy and ownership?
