Mumps vaccine

does anyone (Sherri) know the contents of the mumps vaccine?

also anyone had much success in treating cases of mumps?

My only mumps experience was with myself at age 20. First, it was bar
none the most horribly painful thing I've ever been thru (visions of my
neck exploding, head shooting up like a geyser! ). My mother
picked me up from the college infirmary and started stuffing me with
Vitamin C (her panacea). Within about a half hour (or less?) I was
pain-free (which "pain relievers" had *not* managed!), and by the end
of the four-hour car trip (and many thousands of mg Vitamin C later)
the swelling had nearly gone. Wow, what I wouldn't have given for that
relief the night before!

(This was long before I found homeopathy, so didn't try any remedies.)

And there is tons of success in history treating mumps.
And it is usually a minor disease that doesn't even need treatment.
occasionally mumps meningitis but it rarely is serious, unlike other
meningitis.
