Dear Rima,
I'm not a practitioner, just a fan. In Boericke's Material Medica,
bottom of page 732 under ears, he lists about 50 remedies to look at for tinnitus,
so it must be something that goes with other conditions, isn't an acute.
Also, my favorite non-homeopathic book, Healthy Healing by Linda Page,
has a full page on tinnitus (511), which describes it as something of a
lifestyle condition -- diet, overweight, allergies, stress, TOO MUCH ASPIRIN (who
knew) -- and gives LOTS of natural interventions (specific sups, vitamins, herbs,
reflexology, massage, weight loss, change of diet).
Good luck with your cure.

Re: tinnitus
I have had several patients with tinnitus in the past and while I have been able to help them in all other aspects, have not been able to rid them of this problem. Have I not found the similimum? Do others have experience they could share with me?
Thanks,
Michele.

Re: tinnitus
Has anyone had direct experience treating tinnitus?
This occurred due to damage from loud noise (military equipment going off
close to the person). It occurred many years ago but the problem has been
getting worse as this man gets older.

Re: tinnitus
Yes but with only limited success in that it was a bit better rather than cured!! Gingko is meant to work so is worth a try. Google it.

Re: tinnitus
How did you use the Ginko? Are you talking about a homeopathic remedy or the herb?
Taken internally? Or applied in the ear itself?
thanx

I am talking about the herb, usually herbal tincture internally.

Re: tinnitus
This is the product with the tested standardized extract Tebonin Egb 761 for tinnitus
http://www.pharmacydirect.co.nz/tebonin ... ts-30.html
and may be similar in active ingredients to what is sold in USA drugstores as Ginkoba Memory 120mg
http://www.drugstore.com/ginkoba-all-na ... a/qxp80907
I've found after taking Ginkoba for a bit, it was too strong for me and found 30mg tablet enough
120mg is considered triple strength ginkgo.

Dear Folks
As you know Ebola is one of the hemorrhagic fever viruses that usually simulates symptoms like Cratallus horidus. I suggested this remedy to heal infected patients on the comments page of Yahoo website.
Taking one single dose of 200 in a healthy person may keep one from the infection in an enedemic or epidemic situation like the one that has occurred recently in the 3-4 of west African states.
Be Well,
Dr.Sadeghi

Re: tinnitus
Members, very sorry. Shoot. Now I feel quite the fool. I thought I was posting to a different conversation altogether about Ebola treatment. Guess it shows my inexperience in posting on lists? Or, might it be due to the tinnitus I've experience for over 50 years? Darn that ringing in my head........ but probably not an excuse for computer stupidity. My apology. - Georgianna
