thank you for your responses. It sounds as if no-one would label a case
incurable because of the name of the diagnosis unless end stage pathology
was already there. No-one has mentioned Vithoulkhas description of patient
who feels better, or who has alleviation of acute suffering or who has an
aggravation , any or all with no deep level improvement as incurable ( never
felt comfortable with this myself as it implies huge confidence in
prescription!). Schizophrenia, pvs,emphysema etc etc can all be
potentially curable.ie no 'no go' areas. Poor homeopathic prescribing can
render a case extremely difficult but, again, not incurable per se.

Main frustrations seem to be practice related rather than patient or
prescription related.
(those of you in the UK who are about to pay Inland Revenue £100+ for missed
deadline might like to consider that that would have paid for 15 hours of
clerical time. Just a thought!)
