Re: IBOGA
Hi Simon
I too saw the prog last night.
Amazing reactions to the root. I would not fancy trying it especially with
the danger of death.
However, I fancied what it would be able to do if potentised.
Fascinating - as Mr Spock would say!

((( HI Simon,
I remember that someone in Ireland has used this extensively and knows indications. I used to have a file on it, but I cannot now locate it. I forget the name of the guy--but if you have any Irish friends or someone on the list knows the Irish person who champions use of this rx, then please chime in. As I recall, it was a very interesting sounding rx. Not sure if formal proving or clinical indications. Look forward to hearing about this also.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: IBOGA
From a lecture I attended a couple of years back at the Irish Conference
Tabernanthe Iboga - Declan Hammond
It is from Africa - a fruit used for barren woman. It has a connection with the ancestors and the community. It is to do with the importance of becoming an adult and is used in initiation ceremonies.
Physicals (from the material doses)
Taste - bitter, acrid, gagging, heaving
Numbness in mouth and throat
Strong stimulant of the CNS
Increased muscular strength and endurance
Aphrodisiac
Stimulates the circulation, raises the BO.
Promotes and activates mucus secretions and diuresis
Violent stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting
All senses heightened and stimulated - intense synesthia (feels colours)
Motor inco-ordination and epileptic type spasms, paralysis.
Deep trance like states
Intense colourful visions of the past, ancestors, spiritual; entities
Absolute stillness - coma like states
Lethargy, visual disturbances lasting 4/5 day like slow motions and jerky motions
Chemical dependence interrupter****
Proving symptoms at 30C (22 provers, 18 took the Rx)
Periodicity - annual (provers are still contacting Declan a year later to say that symptoms have returned)
Endings and beginnings, spiritual births and deaths
Unfinished business - ending stuff and going onto new stuff
Connections with roots /ancestry /Africa
Strengthening links with the family, community
Clarity of life purpose and direction
Clairvoyance and prophetic dreams
Boundless physical and sexual energy - little need for sleep
Awakens intuitive/instinctive nature
Solar Plexus and crown of base charkra -gut feelings
Extremely high libido
Greatly affected by music - desires to dance ***
Body light, floating sensation
Ungrounded***

Abdominal cramping, constriction
Constriction of throat- stitching, shooting down body
