Actually on working on case, having ruled out some remedies am
wondering about Fl ac. Tarn. Had thought of Syphilinum but perhaps a

Was surgery for the ASD? I've seen doctors in India manage ASD in children
too young for surgery -- and even in adults who wanted to avoid it.
Treatment was with the constitutional remedy, though often Tub. or Bac. was
used as an intercurrent. Often Crataegus or Rauwolfia m.t. were also given.

In one case of Tetralogy of Fallot in a 10 year-old girl, the child had
recurrent respiratory problems, a stripe down the middle of her tongue,
clubbed fingers, and moderate cyanosis. There was R-sided hypertrophy of
the heart and an enlarged boat-shape on the left side, as well as systolic
murmur. After Phos. and Tuberculinum, a follow-up X-ray showed her heart
reduced in size and less boat-shaped, although the defect cannot be
reversed, only controlled. Her heart sxs were thereafter managed with
Spongia.

He had 2 septal defects and surgery was advised at a mature age. He

I think that is where the problem lies.
If septal defects are not corrected in infancy/childhood, pressure between
the R low pressure side and the L high pressure tend to equalise; when the
correction is then performed, the R side tends to remain in high pressure
mode, which causes backflow in a venous low pressure system, basically the
same results as with pulmonary hypertension.
So we are confronted with a mechanical problem that I, personally, would
address with a multiple approach............start deleting the message now..

Crataegus, but also Digitalis (use in potency, safer), Convallaria majalis,
Urginea and many others

I have the impression that nothing BUT a very aggressive approach would give
you an answer.......and BTW I would know what I am talking about, one of my
former conventional specialities was cardiac surgery, just in case someone
asks )
