Anti inflammatory (acute) homeopathic remedies
Hi,
A young homeopath is going to do an experiment with animals in an animals' rehabilitation center,
where she will take animals who suffer from *acute* innflammations and give
to one half of the animals a combination of 5 - 6 rx that are the most indicated rx for acute infflamations in humans, and to the other half she will give placebo.
She asked my advice which rx to include in this combination, all in low potencies.
I am thinking about the following rx, and will thak you for any input, comments, additions and any useful advice:
Aconitum 3c
Bell 3c (or 4x)
Ferrum phos. 4c
Histaminum 4c
Thanks in advance.
Rafy

Re: Anti inflammatory (acute) homeopathic remedies
Only since you asked for comments as well: I think this is a useless
and possibly harmful study. It is fairly easy to address acutes in
animals, just as with humans, and to give single remedies in
appropriate doses. The wide variety of possible inflammatory
conditions, I believe, would make this a hit or miss situation
dependent on luck.
Of course, I'd take the same view about combination remedies in humans,
but I get really upset about using animals for "experiments", even of
this seemingly noninvasive type. It's not going to prove anything
definitive, about either animals or homeopathy.

Judith Mateo here - And I DO apologize to all (particularly Rafy,
whose input to this list is greatly respected...) for coming across as
*hall monitor* - as Thumper was admonished, "If you can't say anything
nice (or useful), don't say anything at all". Enough said...?

Dear Judith,
In ALL due respect, it is statements like the one you just wrote that
HURT this list. As we all know, there has been some good discussion about
single remedies and combos lately, and this dialogue is GOOD.
When a person asks this list for advice about RESEARCH, this again is
GOOD, and if you have any critique of it, give it (of course!) but don't
discourage dialogue.
And how or why you don't consider the discussion on this topic to be
"USEFUL" is your loss.

Dear Sheri,
Yes...we all know what the MISSION STATEMENT for this group is, but this
does NOT mean that other topics directly relating with homeopathy aren't of
interest to many people on this list.
And to be candid, you (of all people) should be sensitive to this issue
due to all of the good info that you provide here that is not simply
"classical homeopathy."
I was pleased to see Judith respond with a simple and direct apology.

I hear you Dana, but it is a little different on a classical homeopathy
list, supplying information on obstacles to cure and maintaining causes and
exciting causes (such as vaccines and amalgams, etc) (which is what I often
do and I think you are referring to)
and
talking about combo remedies which are not classical homeopathy at all.
I don't deviate from classical on this list and that is what minutus is
about - classical.
That is what some of us object to - the lyghtforce list and homeopathy_open
are there for all sorts of discussions, and minutus is here for classical.

Re: Anti inflammatory (acute) homeopathic remedies
This brings to mind an orchestra all made up of versions of Les Dawson
( a fat comedian known for impersonating gossipy old women) giving one
another askance looks of disapproval at the playing of their various
instruments.
The conductor ( anpther Les dawson) is quite clearly pissed. (in both
senses)
LOL
