Re giving the two together (do you mean in the same doses, or during
the same broader time-frame?), the classical method is to use one
remedy until either it has finished its action, or until a different
picture becomes more pressing. One advantage to this is that sometimes
a remedy will do more than you *thought* it would, and if you have been
combining right from the get-go, you won't have the chance to see that.

Dear Shannon,
concerning 2 remedies at once: I gave each remedy one at a time. Saw the reaction. Got a really good feel for the constitutional remedy and gave added on the folliculium 6x. Was not sure that the 6x was doing much actually and quit after a while. The constitutional (nat mur) kept working for 8 more months.

Concerning her constitutional; Nat-mur fit the best but did nothing for the hot flashes. Lach is an ok fit. Fits some of the physicals and maybe some emotional but not a great convincing remedy. The hot flashes have come down quite a bit and no longer her chief complaint. She's on 12c and maybe she needs 30c.

Lyme's disease. Probably the hormone replacement therapy for 13 years is more significant than the lyme's disease. But she was treated allopathically so it was suppressed and she apparently recovered. But it is such a serious disease, I am wondering if it can be a causative factor.

Yogi standards of centered: Yogis meditate every morning. She run around too much to get that much control of her life. She is certainly not pathological. Much more centered than many people. But she needs someone to hold her hand, hold a class for her, give her continual support so that she will continue her meditations. In real life that is rarely possible. She wants to quit her scattered life, but loves to play with friends. Her husband wants her home at every meal (lol) so he is very opposed to her social life. And he makes her feel guilty. (He is the real lachasis). This description does not sound much like Nat Mur does it? She is a very close friend so I am probably doing a less than objective job of taking her case. But Nat mur did a lot and it is holding. Sounds like Pulsatilla, but Puls did not fit the physicals.
Blessings,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,
Ok now it makes alot of sense. Try doing a 200C, I believe it is
10-14 days from the beginning of her cycle. This should help clear
things out. You may need to use the Foll as an intercurrent for
awhile with the NatMur until her body is cleaned out. Also, make
sure all necessary channels for drainage are functioning properly to
decrease the risk of any unnecessary aggravations.
Good Luck

think that is a good method? I already knew how Nat Mur worked with
her so I was giving them together.

Hi everyone
Can anyone help, please, with some info. on Lyme Disease?
I have a homeopath friend who has been asked to treat someone with it, and she is finding it very difficult to get any reliable information about it, and even the patient has not been told much either by the doctors (specialists, I should say) over here. She really needs to know about the progression of the disease etc. as i gather it's pretty devious (and like syphilis goes to ground).
I would be grateful if anyone knows anywhere (on the internet?) where she could find out more - maybe you know more about this in the States?
Thank you.
Liz

Hi Tanya
Thanks - I'll get my friend to search for this book. Obviusly, she'll give what seems indicated, but I think she wants to have some knowledge of the disease as well.
Didn't know you'd had Lyme's Disease.

here is a book on lyme http://www.lymebook.com/homeopathy
also, if you google lyme disease homeopathy you will get quite a few articles addressing this issue.
the list include an article in homeopathy today which will list several remedies with a diag. differential.
(typical of these articles.)

However, there is some evidence using one of the Lyme nosodes immediately can stop it: borrelia burgdorferi.
