Presentation of Mancinella

This person ,and has been helped by Cimicafugea, Magn Mur. at different
times. developed acute pain R knee. Went to acupuncturist,casualty
middle of night., sports specialist,and pain remained acute. First I
tried Ignatia as there was great grief and upset over a certain
situation.Then as persisted and given proper chance to work on it
identified that there was a stabbing cutting element behind patella and
one beautiful remark as of being pricked by needles.
EXTREMITY PAIN; STITCHING; Knee; patella; needles, as of (1) *: manc.
There was a phone call a day later to say most helpful. Certainly no
modalities that led to more usual remedies
However on searching rubrics I did see Magn Mur several times. This
had been used a month previously for repetitive mind activity.

Thinking about this case. I suppose it is possible she has been
Mancinella for some years,even though very loquacious [not silent mood]
certainly anxiety. Paranoia not in Mancinella. Incorrect prescribing on
my part maybe bringing about this very acute presentation ??// Jean

Hi Jean,

I'm not able to form much impression from what you've written. In your
other post you haven't mentioned loquacity or paranoia. Did she have those
before the mancinella, or develop them after, or ?? ((FWIW, I see Manc as a
(1) under loquacious, and in rubrics such as Delusion, devils, that he will
be; Delusion, persecuted, that he is, which seem related to paranoia??)

Either incorrect *or* correct prescribing could lead to an acute physical
problem... Want to give more context--how long since the prescription
before the knee problem developed? What had her situation (mental state
etc.) been at that point, and what changed around the time of the knee
problem and after the mancinella was given?

Some background . Bipolar disorder. Was put on anti psychotics when I
was away last year
3 years ago I used Hyocyamus when there was quite acute paranoia and
distrust of medicines.
2 years ago Cimicafugea helped climacteric problems.
4 5 weeks ago Magn Mur helped a distressingly overactive
mind,repetitive thoughts and a very laborious and anxious time dealing
with her Mother . There are still many family problems,phone calls about
trouble from one member in the middle of the night I did locate
Mancinella eventually in rubric loquacious.[small print]
The main fear in Mancinella was never definitely stated, there is more
denial evident. I thought it very interesting that it impacted on this
knee pain which though greatly helped today heard is still bothering her
between 3 and 5 am.. She can now walk,which before was very difficult.
I am not sure where to go, I have said to continue with the Manc 30c
when the pain had that needle like quality ,probably LMs would be better
but I have never got round to using them. As she is really a bit
