Radiation Burns

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

Dear Jane

I must point out that the recommendation for the use of remedies in the articles were from colleagues and not from myself.

The SOL in question is Sol Britannic (or British sunshine)
(As Luna is the remedy from moonlight)

It was introduced by Swann in 1880. Re proved in 1994 by Jean Daws and Daphne Scriven

For report see Vermeulen's Synoptic MM2 page 855

"Sunburns easily or NBWS a severe sunburn". I guess it is this aspect of its function that has been found useful in treating radiation burns, especially when one notes that it also covers cancerous tumours.
