Post by Rochelle »

Just to clarify - it is information about allopathic Growth Hormone not homeopathic or HGH that I am after to give to a Mum who is considering letting her 12 year old daughter start taking.

***hi Rochelle

here is a link to info on Growth hormone problems for patients

http://www.emedicinehealth.com/collections/CO1665.asp

However, for you to read could be interesting - on the same site, go to

http://www.emedicine.com/ped/topic472.htm

This is an article on Constitutional Growth Delay - and well worth the
read in your case, as the treatment is not HGH but if desired sex hormones.

At the top in the Search function, if you put in Human Growth Hormone, you
get a multitude of articles to choose from.

This is one of my most referred to medical sites. It is up to date, and
well presented.

Best to you
Robyn

I think what you want is the Recombinant GH made by Eli Lilly - a
synthetic copy of the real thing - called Humatrope - usual problems
with introducing "foreign protein" into the system etc.

This site has some info - and you can just Google Humatrope side
effects should give you what you need.
