Are remedies destroyed by high temperatures?

Post by davexnet01 »

Hello,
My box of remedies were exposed to 85 degree F. temperatures
in September, during a heatwave in Los Angeles.
Simultaneously, my air-conditioning broke down, and it was actually
that temperature in the house for about 8 hours.

Are my remedies, mostly Boiron blue containers, destroyed?
Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

85 degrees F should be no problem at all! The risk-point is said to be 120
degrees F, as might happen for instance in the trunk of a car on a hot day.
Your remedies should be just fine!

I agree with Shannon. There are an awful lot of places inthe world where homeopathy is commonly used and where ambient temperatures are at 85 degrees F plus quite a few during parts of the year, with no problems. Rosemary

This is completely wrong. It comes mostly from Bill Gray's book. The
study that Boiron did showed the action of the remedy broke down
above 120 CELCIUS-- NOT Fahrenheit.

If it broke down at 120F., then all the remedies used by the
missionaries in the topics would not have worked.

Remedies are much more stable than we give them credit for.

Hello everyone,
120Celsius = 248Fahrenheit, just FYI.

Interestingly, this issue came up when I was a student and according to
one of my professors (Durr Elmore),
he had forgotten to remove some homeopathics from his car trunk upon
returning home from an extended trip
and they were locked in a hot trunk for days! He reported that 'the
remedies still worked'! Homeopathy never
fails to both humble and amaze me!
Grace & Peace 2 All :)

PS I'm not advocating the storage of remedies in hot places - perhaps God
blesses our blunders however,
thou shalt not tempt Him! ;-)

Yikes, thankyou!!!
But that means that boiling won't inactive the remedy either... Which makes
it look like every remedy I've ever given my family in water dose in a
non-disposable cup (and I rarely use disposable cups) is still going round
and round... Hm.

(((( This might help--I suggest that the environmental temp which is the criterion mentioned by Julian as 120 C (248 F) ----and rinsing with an activated chaotic solvent at boiling (212 F) are NOT equivalent and thus comparing apples with oranges. Just as a remedy pattern is contagious, thus rinsing repeatedly with a hot, chaotically patterned solvent having no remedy pattern is likely to rinse it adequately.

A glass vial having contained a homeopathic potency rx for a long time, however, is probably a different story--those should not be reused.

"activated chaotic solvent"--what a wonderful term for (I assume you mean)
good ol' dish soap! Mine don't get anywhere near boiling (handwashed,
adequately but not too fastidiously), but maybe that good ol' activated
chaotic solvent works even in warm water? I should run some experiments.
Next time I need a remedy but don't mind if I'm not taking it...
