remedy pictures in movies, novels etc

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone could suggest good remedy pictures in movies, novels ect that they have seen.

I just saw "Shine" - the life story of David Helfgott. Both the physical and the mental symptoms are beautifully portrayed. It was part of a school assignment, so I won't ruin it for anyone by naming the remedy that I arrived at, but it is an unforgetable way to learn a remedy.

Hmmm, did you miss the Lord of the Rings discussion some time back?

David Mundy used to do a lot of this, probably still does. I loved his
Cindarella version ­ Cinders = Puls, one of the ugly sisters was Lachesis,
the coachman arriving at 12 midnight to take Cinders away = Arsenicum, etc.
He always said that the enfant suavage in Kasper Hauser was a typical Calc
carb.

It is fun and does help remember and understand a rx but you can get stuck
on this and it can become limiting.

Hi Joy,
Depending on your life experience, an insane stramonium might be hard to imagine. I had not read Lord of the Rings, so I just didn't have time to catch up and follow the discussion. Some of us are really dorky.

Based on Herscu's descriptions of Stramonium, I thought he would need Hyos for the mania (repetiion of words, in coherence, naked etc) and then he would move on to Stramonium which would help him to access his unconscious. Without remedies, he was using water and music to do that. Can't find Hercu's book now, but he looks like the high functioning autism that stutters (asbergers... syndrom??). Because he is high functioning, he has a high chance of recovery. Finally as a more healthy person, he would become something like a sulphur (hot body temperature, abstract thinker, socially disconected). I was astounded by how complete the picture was in the movie.

very close to the book. It is set in Germany just around 1800-- so it
