I don't wish to minimize the impact of any specific event on the lives of
certain individuals. However, it is easy to take a few reports that seem
to fit a situation and turn them into something more 'politically'
significant then they are. In a given country, region or town, homeopaths
might have "treated several people who complained of severe depression,
loss of appetite, fear of the future, etc." after floods, hurricanes,
earthquakes, high school shootings, hoaxed reports of bombs, anthrax
reports, etc. We've recently seen too many people suffering 'fears' due to
the media coverage of flu vaccine shortages. Isn't the homeopathic issue
more about the individual's reaction - their perception of events (or the
media's portrayal of events) and how they physically and emotionally handle
events?
