Bush - Causticum?
Bush - Causticum?
It is interesting that Allen said that Bush is Causticum. Since I
don't study and only read the board, what are other people's thought
of G.W.?
He obviously looks as if he worries a lot. His forehead/eyebrows has
taken shape of a worrier.

Re: Bush - Causticum?
Bush a Causticum?????!!???? I seriously doubt it. I've seen no evidence whatsoever that social justice has even a scintilla of importance to him. He also will lie, steal, even kill to get what he wants. I see him as representing the syphilitic miasm.
What I remember most about Bush is that on the eve of the first election he broke out with these huge boils on his face (had to cover them with bandaids!). I always figured that was probably a big homeopathic clue.

Re: Bush - Causticum?
Rosemary, I do not know about Bush being Causticum but one thing is that
Causticum as you say do have a sense of social justice BUT they also have a
drive to achieve what THEY think is right for the rest of humanity. Bush
actually does believe "God is on his side!" the following is a short
section of something I have written on Causticum and Causticum ALSO has an
unhealthy side!
"Because they do take things so seriously, Causticums can easily flip into
the more contracted unhealthy side of their nature and lose a sense of
balance. Causticums will feel so deeply they will not able to rest until
they have solved whatever problem they are tackling. It is this depth of
empathy for others' suffering that can cause Causticums to go into deep
depression. Because they feel so deeply they start to imagine all sorts of
terrible things happening, and it is at this stage the nervous exhaustion
manifests in the physical. Causticums take all tasks very seriously and are
overly conscientious. The driving force of Causticums is their emotional
sensitivity and they will have no choice but to take their cause further
because they are so moved by the suffering or predicament of others in the
world. The degree of anxiety that Causticums experience at this point of a
conflict will have a physically, emotionally, and mentally crippling effect
on their health. The immovable mental stance that Causticums take throws
them into the classic Causticum paralysis. Causticums become intolerant and
highly idealistic; they can become terrorists to defend their views. It
will be Causticums who will emotively take their anger and outrage that one
step further into violent resistance or rebellion and terrorism." from my
book A Homeopathic Guide to Partnership and Compatibility.

Re: Bush - Causticum?
Interesting, Liz.
The rubrics I know factually about GWB are indeed present in Caust (e.g., dipsomania, cruelty, mistakes with words, liar, face boils...). In a really negative way, he's idealistic, I suppose. Wow! One doesn't usually get such a destructive picture of Causticum as a state. I have never seen any evidence, I have to admit, that he's moved by anybody else's sufferings, however.... FWIW. Rosemary

Re: Bush - Causticum?
Rosemary Yep Causticum has a very paralysed and rigid 'unhealthy' side that
matches the nature of
Causticum. In reply to the issue of whether Bush is moved by anybody else's
suffering= he does get very emotional over the issue of the death of a
foetus. I am still not making a jugdement either way as to Bush's
constitution!!! It is just an observation. This is from my book (A
Homeopathic Guide to Partnership and Compatibility) again.
"The homeopathic remedy Causticum is derived from a diluted tincture of
potassium hydrate. Potassium is an essential mineral necessary for the
maintenance of normal growth; it is used by the body to stimulate nerve
impulses for muscle contractions, and to regulate distribution of fluids
within cell walls. Severe potassium deficiency (hypokalemia) causes muscle
weakness and paralysis. Deficiency impairs the balance of fluids; symptoms
include constipation, paralysis of the rectum, and irregular or slow
heartbeat (cardiac dysrhythmias). A potassium deficiency also interferes
with glucose metabolism, which results in various nervous disorders such as
anxiousness, restlessness, and insomnia. The opposing themes of paralysis
and overstimulation run through the psyche of Causticum across all levels.
Causticum is excitable, stimulating, and restless. Causticum is also,
conversely, stuck, paralyzed, and anxious. Causticums are an interesting mix
of emotional sensitivity, empathic reactivity, and mental and emotional
stagnation. The more overstimulated Causticums are, the more likely they are
to shut down emotionally. In my practice I have used Causticum, the remedy,
when patients' response to a deep loss or grief has been so totally
overwhelming or paralyzing that they literally cannot get on with their own
life, even after what would be seen as an acceptable mourning period.
Causticums have such a strong mindset that they are completely obsessed. The
most extreme picture of this type of person is a religious fundamentalist
terrorist, while the not-so-extreme picture might be a vegetarian activist.
Obviously, the manifestation of the passionate views of Causticum can be
varied. Most commonly, the picture I see of Causticums in my practice are
those who are so committed to a particular cause that they cannot "loosen
up" emotionally. This is the unhealthy, contracted picture of Causticum."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I say this very liberally. An acceptable mourning period can only be
assessed after first taking into consideration cultural differences.

Re: Bush - Causticum?
As this thread is about remedies I hope it isn't being regarded as just
political but...
Carcinosin can go this way as well depending on what other miasm/s is having
an influence on the sx picture. But certainly 'duty, honour, serving the
country and religion, martyrdom, repression, terrorism, the need to compete
(with his father), and the need to prove that he can do it (born as the kid
who was never going to do it so had to prove he could, h/o alcoholism etc).
Carcinosin can also have appalling skin conditions - again depending on the
influential miasm.

Re: Bush - Causticum?
Bush has had a lifelong "problem" with dyslexia, which his mother likes to
call a big learning disability.
Its the reason he mispronounces "nuclear", among other things.
Anywhoo....he's got great ideas about his own potential which others simply
don't see (in fact, I think he's been "specially selected" by Daddy and his
associates to sit in the position of president, make the right noises, and
just let the gang do their work--a kind of affirmation that they know he'd
never amount to much on his own)...and, given an opportunity to power, he's
chosen what amounts to totalitarianism. I am just thinking about his
reaction as he read to that classroom of children when the World Trade
Centre was destroyed...and what I see there is cowardice.
Throw in drug dependencies(coke, doncha know, to make him "able to act, more
confident"), alcohol dependencies, DUI's and military terms from which he
was able to be "rescued" and you've got a nice little prescription for
Lycopodium.
You need to be sympathetic to a great cause if you're going to need
Causticum. Unless the Cause of "George W Bush" is one you'd consider
"great", I'd save the causticum for the Che Guevara types.
My belaboured 2 cents worth, Canadian funds.

I like that analysis, Nancy. Situationally, you're right that cowardice
(with bravado) makes sense. The conflict with his father also makes sense
for Lycopodium. Actually, I'm thinking of his performance at the first
debate this year -- those faces!! Absolutely like a scared, cornered little
boy plotting to do nasty things.
