Oh my! Diamond is NOT a "new proven remedy". Certainly the proving by
Jeremy Sherr is fairly new, but the first provings were done by
Berhardt Fincke in the late 1800s and were published in the IHA
Transactions.

Further provings have recently been done by Peter Tumminello in Australia.

Peter Tuminello proved a gem essence (diamond immersed in water and exposed
to the sun, the water = MT), whereas Jeremy Sherr's proving is the
triturated diamond powder itself (how did he do that....) I think.
The mentals Tuminello presented are quite different although in the same
theme, if I remember well, and no I do not have notes I can share, sorry....

Dear Dr. Rozencwajg,
From Jeremy's proving:

Pharmacy

Diamond dust of 0.2 microns was produced by Mr.J.Sherr from a jeweler in Hatton Garden, London. 0.06gms of the dust was weighed out and added to an exceptionally clean mortar that had been previously heat treated. To it was added 33 grains of Lactose powder (1.98gms) and the trituration began. It was decided to grind the first 1-33 phase for one hour of grinding and scraping, instead of 20 minutes as Hahnemann did. The reason for this was because of the hardness of diamond and extra shearing needed to break it down. It was thought that the dust would grind itself to a certain degree and create some significant particle size. Hahnemann states that the porcelain mortar is an inert vehicle, like sac lac, so any powdered porcelain would not affect the remedy. This is born out by the fact that many triturated remedies are not shown to be influenced by porcelain (or lactose) in the provings they create. During the first 20 minute stage of trituration the original substance has much
material contact with the forces of the pestle. Thus, diamond to diamond contact would be greatest during this phase. After on hour, the second third of lactose was added and the trituration continued, as given in the footnote of 270 to the third centesimal trituration.
Hope it answers your question: "how did he do that..."

Best regards,

Maly

homeopathic provings but those done in the same manner as flower

Thank you.

The hardness of the diamond was a stumbling block for me.
