Cince Cannabis is `n natural plant, I would like to find out whether there have ever been provings done on this plant? Is there any remedy that this plant is good for, and in what form could it then be applied?

I remember many years ago, way back in the 50's, when my grandmother had leukemia, she brewed a tea from Canabis Australis and drank it early in the morning and in the evening before she went to bed. This relieved her pain tremendously. She also lived much longer than her doctor had expected without chemo or anything else.

I would like to hear your oppinions.

Longer answer -- it's a marvellous remedy, probably irreplaceable for
certain situations (which do NOT necessarily relate to having ingested the
herb!). The two related remedies I'm familiar with are cannabis indica
(cann-i) and cannabis sativa (cann-s). The former is bigger for mental
symptoms but can also tend toward urinary sxs; the latter is stronger on
urinary sxs, but is apt to have some mentals also.

subject; therefore I would rather ask than keep quiet. Only fools don't ask
questions.

May I please remind everybody on this group that CAPITAL LETTERS are
regarded as "screaming" in email etiquette. Scream, if you realy have to,
and want to be angry or sarcastic, but if you don't mean to, please refrain
from using caps in full centences or in emotionally loaded words.

Caps can come very handy in highligting appropriate information, though.

in netherland (small country in europe) cannabis is used to calm pains of cancer patients. Joint on prescription.

Here in the state of Oregon in the usa, we have a "medical marijuana"
law. Doctors can prescribe it, and those "licensed" to use it can have
up to one ounce in their possession, and also are allowed to grow a
plant or two for their own use. I've heard of it used not only for
cancer, but for multiple sclerosis, to alleviate side effects of other
drug regimes (!) and probably all kinds of other reasons..... We have a
local ballot measure in this election (at our state level), which I find
amusing. It proposes to increase the amount a patient can have, saying
one ounce is not enough. How much do they want? Up to one pound! LOL,
quite a difference. Want the savings, I suppose. I think they need to
try homeopathy... minimum dose, eh? LOL

As a true-blue original hippie, I've enjoyed the cannabis reminiscing
(all in the interest of science, of course, lol). At the same time, so
grateful for the ability to laugh these days without the use of any
substances.
