The use of Panadol definitely excessive. It allays parents need to do
something and is too widely advocated by orthodox side.
I think each episode needs assessment. It is dehydration I fear. If a child
is flat and is not passing urine one becomes anxious. Emergency depts¹
now quite good at dehydrating and recovery is then made easier. Sometimes I
find Apis good in this situation. Jean
