Probably most important viscid mucous and fatty stools but need to put in
rubrics specific to child like thirst and behaviour.
I find myself thinking of Nat Mur because of death of Uncle, ??/
Laurocerasus because of the blueness,and lack of oxygen with the pneumonia

Hi Jean

I also immediately thought of Carbo veg - especially with all the blueness
and lung problems.

But it did not come through repertorisation.

Had the child been much younger and breast-feeding, one would have taken the
events during pregnancy in to consideration. But I feel we now have an
independent case with poor inheritance - I think Tub miasm runs supreme.

However, this case was so incompletely presented that I would not have much
confidence with any prescription at this stage. But it is a good exercise in
rubric picking from the dearth on info available.

I hope after the Saturday's visit we now have more info.

Cinnabar,
Cystic Fibrosis is completely curable & not a hereditary disease. The
Pregnant Mother is lacking the mineral Selenium. If M and Child are
given Selenium this "disease" is completely reversable.

(The Doctor who discovered this association was fired and his work was
suppressed.)

How wonderful, if true. I was taught that homeopathy could palliate but not cure CF. The idea that CF not hereditary and is reversible with selenium supplementation blows my mind. PKD, alas, is hereditary, and there's no mineral that will reverse it.

Hi Cinnabar,
I think conditions that are hereditary can be palliated with homeopathy
although they can't be cured. Robin Murphy cited some examples of Bartya
carbonica allowing adults with downs syndrome live independently. He said
they would encounter a stressfull situation and again need the Bartya
carbonica (the example does not imply that Bart-c is specific for downs
syndrom).

I found the quote from Linus Pauling about disease:
"Every ailment, every sickness, and every disease can be traced back to an organic trace mineral deficiency".
Regarding cure of hereditary diseases, many homeopath's do/didn't think (hereditary or acongenital) cancer could be cured homeopathically. Dr A U Ramakrishnan has proved that he can cure cancers in humans.

David Little related his experience with one of his teachers who specialized
in treating Downs Syndrome. He would work with these children from an early
age. David saw them when they were full grown. He said they were
functionally
and intellectually normal and only physical sign that he saw was a slight
malformation of the skull.
