Hello list member,
I do not have really much experience with the following Rx, but
I need to give them in the *lowest* potencies, which are not harmful or poisonous.
If you can advise regarding the lowest, yet Safe, potencies - please help.
The remedies are:
1) Lathyrus sativus
2) Cuprum aceticum
3) Alstonioa constricta
TIA
Rafy

Re: lowest potencies of certain remedies
Lathyrus I have used in 6 as well as 30.
Cup. aceticum in 30 but I have read (Burnett? Clarke?) where they
have used very low potencies.
Alstonia constricta - no experience but this is a herbal medicine and
so has been administered in material doses ( so many grains). I have
used Alstonia scholaris in material doses and also Q ( it is given
for Irritable bowel and other bowel complaints - diarrhoea, dysentery
etc)

Re: lowest potencies of certain remedies
The homeopathic companies - at least in the US - usually set a lower limit
below which a remedy might be poisonous and will not sell those potencies to
the public.
A good book on potencies is "Select Your Dose And Potency" by P.S. Rawat, P,
Jain Publishers of New Delhi. I bought my copy at Chopra's Homeopathic
Centre in Toronto, Canada and you might contact Chopra to see about ordering
a copy, if interested.

You might also contact B. Jain Publishers in New Delhi for a catalog of
titles or try other online sources or your local bookstore.
