David, I don't need to be informed about this, I am actually quite
intelligent and can understand all this for myself, by myself as I am sure
everyone else on this list can do. It is neither upsetting, nor difficult,
just not appropriate for a personal slanging match to appear on this list.
You have it to your credit for creating quite a few, so well done and what
has it changed I ask myself - not a dot. If it had changed anything I would
just love you to bits. So keep going. No doubt Tanya and Rochelle will
respond with equal gusto.

And don't forget to take lots of bikkies with your 'cold milk' before you go
to bed and dream about being a better person.

Hi Joy,

I is very unfortunate that it bores you to be informed of someone on
this list who is pretending to do homeopathy while attempting to bilk
the public.

It is typical of many people today, to not want to give any attention to
things which are upsetting or difficult to deal with.

I find this head-in-the-sand mindset to be pathological.. leading to
decline in many areas of society(politics comes to mind) - and do not at
ALL buy-in to your idea that being pro-active in a case-by-case basis is
pathological!

Far from trying to right the wrongs of the world.. I use my energy to do
what I can in the areas which are near and dear to me. I've had some
small successes, and expect another small success in the current
endeavour.

regards.

ps- Gail did post a reference to the cold milk rubric, which is why I
posted the rubric for her (!) It did not escape me that she might not
have exactly the perfect rubric in terms of chocolate milk (!) but I did
believe that it could be helpful to her to have the rubric and access to
some MM. There is another webpage with more homeopathic texts here
http://www.homeopathyhome.com/reference ... load.shtml

pps -I've heard rumor of tanya & rochelle geting snarky on-list (my
email proggie declines forwarding of their mails to me) -and I'd like to
recommend that they (and everyone, actually)
TRY to place PRINCIPALS before PERSONALITIES.
In other words, ethics and professional conduct just may be a little
more important than the fact that you just personally do not like that
mean old Dave Hartley.
(and many thanks for those of you who have sent messages of support &/or
messages containing supporting information for the current campaign ;)

Oh please this is getting boring already - keep it between the two of you
(private and off list) as slander has nothing to do with homeopathy and as
you are always policing this list David and have told us on many occasions,
"let's stick with the homeopathy" instead of pathologically trying to
cleanse the world - too big a task even for you.
I totally aggree with Joy and also with Tanya. I am relatively new on the
list and have only read some of Davids mails and I must say, I think the list
could do without this type of policing form David. So please, keep this
between the two of you >>>> I really wonder why somebody keeps mails from 1999!!
and needs to bring them up 5 years later.

I'll just respond with a slander and libel suit of my own against you dear,
and I have hundreds of witnesses.

This is a classical homeopathy list. That's why I tune in. I don't want any
hocus pocus. I don't want any long distance crap. Those who want to work on
bilking the public and those who don't quite understand what that means are
always free to get your kicks elsewhere. The point is, if you aren't doing
homeopathy, do whatever you are doing elsewhere.

As for saving e-mails for 5 years, you are demonstrating your limitations.
Did you ever hear of the archives? Grow up.

Er, it was a private post, would not have been in the archives. But no
matter, I'm sure I'm not the only other person who has posts saved from
years back, for various reasons or lack thereof.

Okay, that was fun. But for the rest of it, can we let this topic languish,
and anyone who wants to pursue it, do so privately? Ardavan did sweetly
remind us that this is a *homeopathy* list, not a "why I hate anything
that's not homeopathy" list. (Uh, sorry, that's my own wording.) He also
reminded us that posts which are deliberately offensive are not welcome.

Sigh, love to y'all,
Stickin' my head back in the sand now...

although this list is about classical homeopathy, there are many other
tangential subjects that get raised. i think this is a normative process
with any large and ongoing discussion.

for my interest, this ranging of ideas informs me of many new items
and thoughts. while it is important to keep classical homeopathy in
the forefront, it is also important to listen to the other information
shared by members. i think this is one of the things that makes this
list so rich.

what i absolutely abhore is the self-righteousness of a few members
who think they have the right to judge others and castigate them for
not being narrow or puristic enough, or simply not thinking as they do.
it seems that every 3-4 months this list goes through some attitude crises
of a
member who cant resist the anonymity of the internet to vent their egoistic
selves on the group. regardless of a poster's level of development or
positions, this egotist will feel self-righteous in spewing forth contempt
and judgement. respect seems to be missing in their value system.

in this round of hostility, we once again find the same male member
in the heart of it. so if there is sexism here, i would suggest that the
male
members of this list make note of this gender condition and pay attention
to this repeat pattern.

i must say that the older i get the more value i see in keeping in mind
potential alternative perspectives on any issue, including homeopathy,
i feel that is one important way that informs my judgement even in case
taking. there is so much to learn in life.

so, folks, keep on noting nutritional information or any
other thoughts that will keep us open to the broadest learning
and the best case analysis.

Dear Tanya,
Well said. Burning witches because they practice things in addition to classical homeopathy is throwing out the baby with the bath water. I am alway intrigued to hear how others integrate non-classical or non-homeopathic practices in their classical practice. Getting off topic into everything and nothing is not productive, but we don't live in a vaccume either. Alva has a broad background which a student like me knows little about and naturally I am curious about how she does her practice.
Blessings,

But why make it difficult on this list? if you want a list
with a broader view you can make use of

Actually there are many of us here who use other things together with
classical homeopathy (not necessarily at the same time). If one is going to
"mix modalities", it's important to be *very* well grounded in both, to know
what you *expect* from each therapy you presecribe, and to know which
effects are due to which cause.

If there is any uncertainty, then it's important to begin only one new thing
at a time, and watch carefully. (Of course there are some exceptions, e.g.
in a life-threatening infection one might give remedy *and* antibiotic or
etc., stuff like that...)
