Urticaria with dry hactic cough, need your HELP

Hi list members !!

I need your help for my daughter , 10 years old.

1 week ago , she had high fever and cough , then followed by eruption on skin , like urticaria ( hives ) which is very itching and burning for her. The eruption started from legs upward even to face , it subside , become less during daytime.But worse at night , especially lying on bed during sleep .( 11pm to 1 pm ); in cold room. Worse scraching (more appearing). At the same time , dry hacking cough preventing her from sleep; not much phlegm ; continued cough till feel breathless. Have mild asthma last year. Cough feel better sitting up from bed. No complaint of thirst. Tongue : white coated with red edges. She feel fine during daytime. Presently , the weather is dry and hot. She looks thin and dark complexion. Skin dry. Easily irritated and angry. Cannot tolerate pain well.

Remedy taken : Merc Sol, Pulsatilla which help a bit , especially cut off the fever.

Is RUMEX close similar to it ???

Please recommeding your remedies or any suggestion. ..

Rumex has very specific time modalities with the cough 3.30, 11pm 2-5am and
also Rumex is usually quite depressed not irritable and angry.

I think someone suggested Sanguinaria and I would add Arsenicum, Apis and
possibly Bryonia although you would expect the person to be really quite
thirsty for this rx.

How does the child respond to sympathy, company? What is the phlegm like?

I think I would go for Arsenicum for this child as it's got the burning, worse night, respiratory and skin problems in it. How fussy is she. If she is very upset about this and a bit fearful then this would confirm Arsenicum to me. The irritability and not being able to tolerate pain would confirm this to me especially if she wants you around. If she is calm and taking it in her stride then I would be looking for a different remedy.

My daughter feel much relieved , less cough & hives last night , after given
Arsernicum Alb. 6C . ; sleep better. Today still given her the same remedy
for 2 doses because the cough not clear yet ; not much hives. However the
cough become loose with thick lump yellow phlegms. Will see how she feel
tonight ....

I would add to Joy's list Rhus tox also. Rhus and then
may be ars would score if the sensations and
modalities provided are accounted.
Rhus has a cough just about midnight,itching, burning
and plus, it follows very well after pulsatilla
(boenninghaussen gives five grades for agg after puls)
Ars is has burning, but not itching. Rhus has the
irritability during pain. Eruptions, if red, will
further strengthen Rhus. ars(5) and rhus(3) are also
scratching agg.
If analysed thru the fever after agg route, if you
want to, then ars(5) will again come high( rhus (4)).
ANyway, the thirst, and a few other modalities which
are visible are taken,(burning relieved by what -hot
or cold) then final selection will narrow.
