Weaning from (anti-depressants)

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

Dear Didi and Colleagues

A few months back I weaned someone of Prozac which was in liquid form by
reducing the dose by 0.2 ml daily - using a measuring syringe.

If tablets, use a new metal nail file and dedicate it to this task - for
each dose scrape the tablet cumulatively. So dose one = 1 scrape; dose 2 = 2
scrape.

Although this is laborious, it is so gentle that the body does not react to
the reduction.

Capsules would pose a major problem!!

Good luck
Soroush

Hello all,

Can anyone shed some light on how to get a patient off anti-depressants.
When the patient tries to get off it, he gets depressed all the worse. (of
course, following Organon!) I need some guidance here.

I was considering starting with a bit of tautopathy.... any comments?

Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira
