*Diplo-*

The prefix 'Diplo-' comes from the Greek word
'Diploos' which means 'double'.
Examples:
1. Diplopia:

'-opia' comes from the Greek root 'ops' which means
eye.

Diplopia is a disorder of vision in which two images
os a single object are seen.
2. Diplocoria:

'Kore' in Greek means 'pupil'.

Diplocoria means having two pupils in one eye.
