I agree with this - all remedies are 'real' in as much as you have a
'substance' at the end of the process. As for centrifugal forces and time -
try living without them. Add to this the distance provided by homeopathic
potentisation this would place all remedies under a questionable 'reality'.
A slice of lateral thinking wouldn't go amiss

I propose that the term "imponderable" is an apology to materialist
thinkers, is somewhat anti-intellectual and anti-scientific, and should not
be perpetuated as a term in the science of Homeopathy. Whether or not it
is "politically correct" in helping or hindering the acceptance of
homeopathic medicine, we perhaps should consider changes of this nature in
order to be logically consistent in our terminology.

The only dictionary I can find right now doesn't define "imponderable". Can
someone give me a definition? I thought it just meant "immaterial", in
which case what's wrong with the term??? A "drug" remedy is no longer a
drug; an "animal" remedy is no longer an animal, and an immaterial whatever
has become a "material" remedy. Um, er, well, to the extent that any of
them are...

What term would (either of) you prefer??

Imponderable = incapable of being measured with exactness. Well, you could
say that about almost anything, depending on what part of the metaphysical
cloud you are at.

Mm, I guess this is "me out-to-lunch" again ! I haven't been aware
that the term was derogatory. It's not *necessarily* used derogatorily, as
I've seen it used also on [a] pharmacy website[s] as a category. Maybe the
issue is not the name, but our understanding of just what these remedies
are, their origins and clinical records?
