I have a new patient coming in with multiple problems but she has just been told she has Toxoplasmosis in her system - she has cats. Has anyone given this in potency and if so what potency and posology have they used?

Toxoplasmosis
Re: Toxoplasmosis
Friend from out of town just told me she has this. I found very little about
it by googling. Said she has blurred vision, her hands and legs go
paralytic..fever and chills, confusion. She had tetracycline and carnivora
which she said helps. Anyone had experience with taking a remedy made from the
parasite? She moved into new house where many cats had lived and got bad
allergies from leftover hair. I wonder if there is a connection…how long
parasites live on hair? Meantime, I'm asking questions of her and looking at
remedies.

Hi Carol,
Here's a link to the CDC:
https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/toxoplasm ... sease.html
Healthy people (nonpregnant)
Healthy people who become infected with Toxoplasma gondii often do not have symptoms because their immune system usually keeps the parasite from causing illness. When illness occurs, it is usually mild with "flu-like" symptoms (e.g., tender lymph nodes, muscle aches, etc.) that last for weeks to months and then go away. However, the parasite remains in their body in an inactive state. It can become reactivated if the person becomes immunosuppressed

Re: Toxoplasmosis
I had this many years ago from a kitten. The symptoms need to have support, fluids, anti nausea, rest. They go away within a week. Until then you feel lousy.
