Celiac's disease...any experience?

Post by Dana Ullman, MPH »

Friends,
Has anyone out there had much experience in treating people, especially
children, with celiac's disease (an inability to digest wheat and wheat
products)?
We have all read about those remedies that are aggravated by wheat, but
I'm curious to know if people notice minor or significant improvements in
people's ability to digest wheat after homeopathic medicines are prescribed.

Yes Dana I treat a lot of kids with Celiac's with the best success coming
from the calc's. and Yes they can reintroduce wheat and gluten because the
biggest aggravation with celiac is with gluten!Liz

Hi Liz,

Do you see them get to where wheat (and gluten) is no longer a problem at
all, or just less of a problem?

Hi, Dana.

My own personal manifestations of celiac disease have cleared completely over the past 12 years or so with constitutional homeopathic treatment. Quite amazing.

With gluten there is always an inability to absorb it BUT I get them to the
point that they have to have really blown their diet for quite a few days
for them to get back the stomach troubles.
BUT I also use Amlyse and Protease and Lipase and Peptin enzymes for a good
6 months with every meal that is carb based. Then I just leave them on a
very low dosage of their homoeopathic 1/w and that seems to maintain the
problem. Kids will always blow a diet so the treatment can always
potentially go backwards but when it does they never goes back to where they
started from. Hope this helps.
