I last saw this patient 2 weeks ago and the goitre had gone right down. Her energy was fine. She finally got the biopsy results back saying she had Hashimoto's syndrome. She has cut down the Lapis now to 2 a day.However because of her blood test readings she has succumbed and gone onto allopathic Thyroxin this week.
She has just phoned me to say that the goitre has started to grow again. The only change has been that she took another Calc 1M last week as we planned to see if we could get the T4 and TSH readings better. her last blood test readings show that since she has been on the thyroxin the T4 and TSH have worsened.
The question has to be has going onto the allopathic Thyroxin caused the goitre that we got down to start growing again or was it the Calc , although she feels absolutely fine. Any ideas please? She is still taking the Lapis 12x.

Could be a classic case of illustrating the problems of giving more than one
remedy at any given time in a case. Things were going fine - why give the
Calc 1m - patience
But to be honest you cannot tell what has caused this change because there
is too much going on.
