rems for chemo side effects

Dear all,
Recently people on the list have mentioned remedies for counteracting the
side effects of chemo, and I had the impression they were talking specifics,
this for that. If anyone has those posts or could sent that info to the list
or me again (and correct any mis-impressions I have about choosing a remedy
for this purpose), I'd be most grateful.

Dear Margaret,

I've had good results with this issue just repertorizing whatever the main symptoms are, treating it as an acute, and giving the indicated remedy usually in low potency (6c or 12c, to be repeated as needed). A number of different remedies have come up, depending on the symptoms involved, including some pretty unusual ones like lips peeling off. There's an amazing variety of possible symptoms from chemo or radiation.

This is what I give out to my patients. I hope it is useful. Most of it is from a lecture with Anne Saunders when I was at college.

Radiation Remedy (Audrey Westlake's Recipe - but can be bought ready made up from Helios or Ainsworth)

2 drops of the following Bach Flower Remedies in a 100ml bottle of distilled water.

Cherry Plum

Gentian

Rock Rose

Star of Bethlehem

Vine

Walnut

Wild Oat
Add 3.5gms - teaspoon (?) sea salt. Shake!!
Start 2 days before treatment - 4 drops on tongue or in a little water 3 time a day. If /when symptoms appear increase to 5 times and day and 7 times a day if necessary.
Homeopathic Remedies - Suck don't chew and take between meals - not within 15 mins of food or drink either way.
If bladder or bowel is affected take Phos. 30 and Caust. 30 three times a day until problem begins to go and then don't repeat unless the symptoms return.
If Bowel obstructed 4 days after treatment take Veratrum 30 three times a day for a couple of days or until improvement.
If thrush take Nat. Phos three times a day for up to a week or until improvement.
Radiation Pillules 200C
Suck 1 after each treatment

I am very sorry but this is absolute rubbish and has with homeopathy NOTHING
to do!!! It has to be understood once and for all, from the very beginning,
that in homeopathy you NEVER treat diseases but ONLY patients - THIS is the
central, main, essential, difference to allopathy.
Therefore there is no "radiation remedy" as such or whatever but there are
symptoms caused by radiation, which will be different for actually almost every
individual patient. So, each patient will get HIS remedy for HIS symptoms and
no "radiation remedy" or hell knows what else.
I strongly hope this is understood because otherwise we do not differentiate,
as I already said, chalk from cheese.
I keep wondering what kind of stupidities are taught in some civilized
countries and how this wonderful, classic, method is being drained through trash by
all this ignorants, while I try to stay polite and not call them else. Deeply
disapointed.

Homeopathy does NOT know about counter-effects or side-effects of chemo but
certain symptoms only and their modalities. Let's make the difference between
chalk and cheese. Things should be handled ONLY in the authentic homeopathic
way, which is this one. There are no specifics in that sense related to chemo or
radiotherapy or allopathic medicine side effects or whatever.
