I have recently seen a patient who is taking Cyclin -- a birth control
pill that suppresses menses so she only menstruates 6 times a year
(and is hoping to reduce that to 4). She is using this regime as it is
the only thing that has worked allopathically to control her
debilitating migraine headaches at ovulation and during her periods.
Folliculinum is strongly indicated for her pre-suppression symptom
picture. I have only used this remedy for women after they've come off
the pill. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience, or has an
opinion about using folliculinum for a patient on this kind of a pill.
I have discussed the problem of this kind of suppression with the
patient who has agreed not to increase the strength of her pill, and
is willing to start reducing its use once she sees some indication
that the homeopathy is effective. Would appreciate any comments on
this one. Thanks!

Re: folliculinum and birth control pills
YEP I use folliculinum = folliculinum is an estrogen enhancing
homoeopathic I assume this is opposite to what the patient is trying to do
in terms of suppressing her MX ????
Having said that it would seem to me to be a good perscription on the basis
of her SX ??? and you are on track in terms of Like cures Like !!!
