Well, since my office is usually filled with weird stuff,...... if 
the 'meat tissue" (?) is fairly stable and without infection or odor,
I might spray the area with a mixture of glycerite extracted MT of
baptisia-echinacea-and hydrastis (or symphytum where available). You
would see clear clean growth quickly without much risk of infection
or scarring. (?) Would love to have seen this one. ;/
