I was not sure either, I have been getting rather a lot of these emails,
sender unknown, strange messages, asking you to open an attached file.

My response - just delete it. I would wager that it is no genuine.

Don't trust any of these as they may be spoof. Delete the email asap; and do
not open any attachment.
If you suspect that your PC is infected.
Use your own anti-virus. If you do not have one installed, it's time to go
out and buy one...for prevention is better than cure.

Just look at the spelling and poor organization of the so called "warning".
This is a sure sign of a hoax and such things should always be deleted.

Hi Jean

This sounds very suspicious to me and I would advise you not to open any
attachments at all. You should only ever open attachments if you are 100 %
sure that you are expecting this attachment and can trust it.

The latest virus (worms) have texts which make it more and more plausible to
open the attachments. You have to resist.

The virus are sometimes sent out with impossible email address concoctions
as senders, but also with a genuine sounding email address as sender. An
infected computer will harvest any address it finds and send out emails
using those harvested addresses as sender and as receiver.

The AVG Antivirus programme is free and good:

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php
(any antivirus programme is only good if it is updated, my Norton updates
just about daily, at times twice a day at the moment).

If anybody thinks that they might have a virus, they should run Housecall
(free) first:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Barbara
(who catches 3 - 12 virus emails in the Yahoo Bulk Folder daily, Yahoo
usually puts them there)

Hello, there was no attached file on your email, so it's hard to tell what "see attached file" refers to.
